How valuable was the Career Analysts experience in helping you create a framework within which to make career decisions?

I’ve often felt like a square peg in a round hole, which has been negatively impacting my confidence and overall wellbeing. Speaking to Mary helped me see that I’ve not been being true to myself in my job choices – and that I should be looking at jobs which speak to ALL of my values. She also helped me uncover what’s really important to me and – most importantly – what’s not.

Mary is great. She told me what I needed to hear in a kind and compassionate way and did an amazing job at understanding me in a short space of time. As well as focusing on careers, she also noted my issues with confidence and provided some very helpful tools for self compassion. Speaking to people since seeing her, everyone has remarked on how accurate she was about me.

The report was clear and detailed and underlined Mary’s understanding of my situation. I feel that I had already taken the most important points in it from our meeting, but I think having a physical report will be hugely important to have to refer to in the future.

Which aspects did you find particularly useful?

For me, the meeting itself was the most valuable part – as we were able to drive the conversation together, based on what Mary made of my test results as well as my personal preferences. One of the main things I took away was ‘If it doesn’t nourish your soul, don’t do it!’ I think that’s really important.

What aspect, if any, could be improved?

I can’t think of anything, just wish I’d done it sooner!
