Careers Advice for Teenagers

Are you wondering ‘What career path should I take?’ Or trying to choose the right A-Levels or degree. Or thinking of going straight to work. Then careers guidance can help you discover the best career choices for you. Once you have found what career is right for you, you can work back from there to see what A Levels and degree choices would be best for you. Our  careers advice for teenagers programme can help with that. We can also include parents who want to help their teenagers find the right career for them.

Our scientific approach helps you discover your ideal career and the best A level and degree choices to get you there. To do that, we need to understand who YOU are. What are you interested in? What are you good at? Which career would suit your personality? Once we answer these questions, we can work out what is the right career for you, and how to get to that ideal career through education. We conduct an in depth psychometric assessment of you. With these, our fully qualified Occupational Psychologists can give you careers advice specifically tailored to you.

In-depth Psychometric Tests

Our careers advice is based on an in-depth psychometric assessment of you. Once you complete our career tests online, one of our careers advisors will analyse the results so they can really understand who you are, what you’re interested in, where your skills lie and what career would suit your personality.  These detailed career assessment tests reveal your strengths and weaknesses so that you know which A-levels or degree options to choose and which would be the best career for you.

None of what we do is guess-work. Our in-depth analysis, using cutting-edge psychometric tests, means our fully qualified careers advisors use a proven scientific process to help you find:

  • What A-Levels or International Baccalaureate course to choose
  • Which Degree choice would be the best one for you
  • What career is right for you either now or in the future

Our Careers Advice Services

Choose the Right A Levels and Degree

At 13 or 14 you are still a little too young to be thinking about careers advice. Just enjoy your time at school and figure out your strongest areas of interest and what you are good at. But at 15 you have to start thinking about A level choices with a view to what degree to do after that and what career is right for you in the future. We use psychometric tests to help you align your A-Levels, degree and career path, so that every education decision you make, leads you to discover the right career for you.

After you complete your psychometric tests online, your personal career advisor will talk you through which career suits you and which academic choices will help you get there.

Careers Advice for Parents with Teenagers

It’s hard to help your child choose the right career. Moreover, teenagers don’t always follow parental recommendations, so it can often feel like you’re just not getting through. So it’s useful to get an unbiased, professional opinion.

We understand that a parent wants what’s best for their child and would like to ensure that they get it. Therefore we offer the Parents and Guardians Extension which includes a session between you and your childs careers advisor. This means you get to hear their recommendations first-hand and ask them questions directly.
