For Teenagers

Careers Advice for Teenagers

You can feel pretty overwhelmed when you’re choosing your A-Levels options, deciding what to study at university or considering whether to go straight to work. It’s understandable, these are big decisions that are really hard to make at a young age.

We offer a scientific approach that helps you find your ideal career. First, you complete an in-depth psychometric assessment that helps us understand who you are – your interests, abilities and personality.  We then go away and think of the best options for you, before sitting down with you in person to talk you through our ideas. Once we’ve identified the best career for you, we can help you decide on your A-Level and degree choices.

We include psychometrics in both our higher education consultancy services and careers advice options for 15-19 year olds.

We also offer practical university application support for teenagers applying to university and we advise parents who want to help their teenagers find a career.

In-depth Psychometric Tests

Our study and careers advice is based on an in-depth scientific assessment of you. Once you complete our psychometric tests online, our careers advisors analyse your results so they can really understand who you are, what you’re interested in, where your skills lie and what would suit your personality.  These detailed psychometric & career assessment tests reveal your strengths and weaknesses so that you know which A-levels or degree options to choose and which career would be the best for you.

None of what we do is guess-work – our fully qualified occupational psychologists use science to help you find:

Careers Advice for Teenagers

There is an ideal career out there for every young person but it’s hard to identify which career is right for you. We provide specialist careers advice for teenagers and we are highly qualified to do so. Each of our careers advisors has at least 2 degrees – one in which they learn about all the various careers there are and another in which they learn how to assess their client – you.

Your online psychometric assessment helps our careers advisors identify where you would thrive. They offer advice for school leavers who don’t know what A-Levels to do, whether they should go to uni or whether to go straight to work. By finding which career suits you, your career guidance specialist can help you make the best choices and get you on the right path.

Get Straight to Work After School

We understand that further education isn’t for everyone. Our Straight to Work programme consists of an online psychometric assessment and career counselling that is specifically tailored to those school-leavers who want to start work immediately.

Our psychometric and aptitude tests ensure that your career consultant gives you scientifically-based, practical careers advice about how to start an exciting new career now.

Careers Advice for Parents with Teenagers

It’s hard to know how to help your child choose the right career when they have little idea themselves! What’s more, teenagers don’t always follow parental recommendations, so it can often feel like you’re just not getting through.

We understand that a parent wants what is best for their teenager and has an interest in ensuring that they get it. Therefore we offer the Parents and Guardians Extension option which includes a consultation between parents and their child’s careers advisor. This means you get to hear their recommendations firsthand and ask them any questions.
